MF-01 / FOUNDER COMPETENCY AND OPEN-HARDWARE READINESS
No training or apparatus qualification is claimed.

Demonstrate on the actual setup:
- Independently reproduce units, estimator sign and full optical momentum ledger.
- Build and defend the traceability/covariance budget; distinguish Type A/B and k.
- Validate displacement-to-force calibration, capacitance gradient and geometry.
- Measure settling, drift/autocorrelation, effective N and reversal behavior.
- Challenge thermal, gas, electrostatic, magnetic, vibration and cable artifacts.
- Recover a reference force blind to its setting; document failures and corrections.
- Demonstrate competent laser, vacuum and electrical operation with appropriate
technical review. A seminar certificate alone does not establish these skills.

Open-hardware submission inventory (currently incomplete):
- Editable CAD and fabrication drawings with tolerances and assembly instructions.
- Itemized BOM, supplier alternatives, calibration fixtures and versioned firmware.
- Setup/operation procedures, uncertainty and controls, actual validation datasets.
- Reproducible analysis, empty schema plus real example data when acquired.
- Ownership/contributor permissions and explicit hardware/software/data licenses.
- Independent build feedback and version-specific artifact hashes.

The available kit is planning documentation, not build-ready open hardware.
A journal's review does not substitute for physical qualification. Select venues
by scope and current fees; record acceptance only when an editor returns it.
An open replication invitation should state actual results and reproducible files
when they exist. No unsolicited invitation is sent in this implementation.
