Mission Workbench / Educational model

Let the numbers
shape the mission.

Connect a physical interaction to force, acceleration and energy. Every scenario travels with its assumptions.

01 / DEFINE THE SCENARIO

Include supports, power hardware and heat-management hardware in total mass.

02 / THE IDEAL RESULT

Momentum exchange:

Constant-force estimate · not an orbit, trajectory or validated vehicle simulation

03 / KEEP THE ASSUMPTIONS

  • Constant force, fixed total mass and nonrelativistic motion.
  • No gravity, drag, orbit, guidance or braking model.

Light

Opaque normal-incidence sail: F = (1 + R)P/c. For sunlight, P = 1361 A/r². An ideal onboard collimated emitter gives F = ηPelectrical/c.

External fields

A straight current-carrying segment in a uniform external magnetic field has |F| = ILB|sin θ|. A complete tether architecture also requires current closure and environmental coupling.

Motion and range

Δv = Ft/m. Motion estimates above 1% of light speed are blocked. This tool cannot infer a propulsion mechanism from an entered force or calculate an interplanetary flight plan.
