MF-01 / Founder-led route

Build competence.
Publish evidence.

What can be prepared without hiring, and which outcomes remain dependent on external review.

Make progress without confusing paperwork with evidence.

The supplied review assigns Edition 13 a score of 71.0. Its founder-only target vector totals 88.5; without independent replication the stated rubric caps it at 80. These are the reviewer’s conditional assessments. No new score is awarded by this edition.

The mathematical upper bound is 90 + D10 only when all other dimensions are perfect. If a rubric limits a solo founder to D10 = 3, that yields 93. The limit is a scoring-policy assumption, not a scientific law or proof that a founder can never become a qualified lead. The review has not established a universal requirement for a second employee.

ScenarioRawWith no replication
Supplied Edition 13 vector71.071.0
Proposed no-hire target; D10 = 388.580.0
Same target with D10 = 691.580.0
All other dimensions perfect; D10 = 393.080.0
All other dimensions perfect; D10 = 696.080.0

A lead scored at 6 does not turn the proposed 88.5 plan into 96. It produces 91.5 with the other dimensions unchanged. Reaching 95 still requires stronger evidence elsewhere. Nor is 88.5 a demonstrated practical maximum: the assumed future dimension scores have not been independently established.

Inspect the scoring assumption.

Raw scenario: 88.5. Capped scenario: 80.0. No achieved score is implied.

These controls change a hypothetical calculation only; they do not update project status. The 80 cap comes from the supplied private rubric.

What can happen now.

  • Prepare a transparent development record and resolve the remaining protocol fields.
  • Package code, expected outputs, authorship and rights information for a repository deposit and independent execution request.
  • Audit numerical source claims against specific passages, preserving partial-read and unresolved flags.
  • Document skills through instrument-specific demonstrations and a training record.
  • Prepare a hardware-documentation inventory and itemized capital plan.

What remains external.

Peer review, CODECHECK execution, an accepted Registered Report and independent replication require other people’s judgment and availability even when nobody is hired. A purchased replication campaign can establish a schedule for work, not guarantee closure or a particular score. Independent replication need not be unsolicited; a transparent invitation does not itself compromise independence.

The owned-apparatus requirement remains. Existing design-review and qualification gates are not waived. No role, service contract or open-hardware license is created by this plan.
