MF-01 / Development status

Progress needs evidence.

As of 19 October 2026, MF-01 is in program design. No apparatus qualification or propulsion measurement is reported.

  1. 01

    Define the interaction

Variables, units, equations, boundary conditions, coupling and an explicit energy/momentum ledger.

    Definition required
  2. 02

    Make a falsifiable prediction

Magnitude, sign, operating conditions, scaling and conventional-model comparison, with a result that would contradict the candidate.

    Planned
  3. 03

    Qualify MF-01

Known-force recovery, calibrated uncertainty, repeatability and drift at the intended test conditions.

    Planned
  4. 04

    Bound the alternatives

Thermal, magnetic, electrostatic, mechanical and gas controls sufficient for the predicted effect.

    Planned
  5. 05

    Resolve the candidate test

A frozen protocol and preserved raw data support an effect, a bound or an explicitly unresolved result.

    Planned
  6. 06

    Reproduce independently

A separate team rebuilds or independently implements the experiment and reports compatible results within stated uncertainty. Publication alone does not complete this gate.

    Planned
  7. 07

    Establish system usefulness

Whole-system force, power, heat rejection, mass, lifetime and environmental dependence support a specified application.

    Planned
  8. 08

    Validate a first offering

A documented customer need, bounded deliverable, verified capability, acceptance criteria and a credible delivery cost.

    Planned

These gates are a development sequence, not a numerical probability of success or a certified technology-readiness assessment.
