THE ENGINEERING / Metric Flight research assets and evidence milestones
Current work includes analysis, software, experiment definitions and concept architecture. These are inspectable outputs. The magnetic redesign is a candidate studied through fields and system estimates; retained thrust and endurance have not been demonstrated. ARLO and the lunar station are concepts, not operating facilities or contracted deliveries.
A validated measurement method, reproducible model, control implementation or thermal integration design could be valuable if it solves a defined customer problem. Differentiation requires a measured comparison. A physical principle from published literature does not become company-owned technology through citation or simulation.
Maintain contributor records, source provenance, third-party licenses, invention disclosures and the exact status of any relevant application. No Metric Flight patent filing, granted claim or exclusivity is established by this page. Any founder filing must be identified and its relevance documented before including it in this program’s claims. Counsel review and ownership records belong in diligence.
The next magnetic milestone is a qualified reference measurement and facility-effects assessment. Subsequent funding should depend on a reproducible comparison and a system-level advantage. For ARLO and the Moon station, the next outputs are reviewed requirements, coupled budgets, supplier scopes and transport studies. No success probability or valuation is inferred from simulation agreement.
Provide the frozen hypothesis, equations and assumptions, executable code, raw data where measurements exist, calibration records, uncertainty analysis, failed tests, source references and a discrepancy log. Keep measured, calculated, assumed and proposed values visibly distinct. A stop decision is a valid outcome when the evidence fails the stated criterion.
